The exhibition „ICON – Ideal Idea Inspiration“ united 19 contemporary artists at Gallery Krinzinger. They not only exhibited their own piece but more so, allowed insights into their world and thinking by referring to another artist’s piece. Each artist chose and presented a work that has strong influence onto their own work. The exhibition catalogue continues this juxtaposition with transparent pages between the artist’s work and the reference piece on the other page. A personal comment on these transparent pages highlights the connection the artists wanted to create.
